Hot Melt Adhesives
Hot melt adhesives primarily composed of EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) resin are widely used due to their solvent-free formulation, which minimizes environmental pollution and ensures high safety. This makes them particularly suitable for automated production lines. Key applications include bookbinding (wireless bookbinding), furniture edgebanding, automotive and appliance assembly, footwear manufacturing, carpet coating, and corrosion-resistant coatings for metals.

Applications of EVA Products
EVA materials are also utilized in manufacturing refrigerator tubing, gas pipes, construction panels, containers, and daily necessities. Additionally, they serve as raw materials for packaging films, gaskets, medical devices, and are employed as hot melt adhesives and cable insulation materials.

EVA Emulsion
EVA emulsion, short for ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion, is a high-molecular-weight emulsion produced through emulsion polymerization of vinyl acetate and ethylene monomers with auxiliary materials. It typically appears milky white or pale yellow in color.

Classification of EVA Copolymers
Ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers (EVA) are the most significant products in the ethylene copolymer family. Internationally, they are generally referred to as "EVA." In China, however, they are categorized based on vinyl acetate content:

1. EVA Resin: Products with vinyl acetate content below 40%.
2. EVA Rubber: Materials with vinyl acetate content between 40% and 70%, characterized by flexibility and elasticity. These are sometimes termed "EVA rubber."
3. EVA Emulsion: Products with vinyl acetate content ranging from 70% to 95%, typically in emulsion form.

This classification system ensures precise application matching for industrial and consumer products.
